Why do non Unitologists want to keep building markers (EarthGov) if every time they keep doing so, it's turning everyone in the city into a necromorph? Even Scientologists would know not to worship something that turns you into a killer alien.
Why do the Unitologists worship the marker if it's turning everyone around them into psychotic fucked up aliens? Everything I've read about them in-game and on the internet makes them look like a regular "nu religion" like Scientology or something. If it's a sound that turns people into necromorphs, why isn't everyone with ears a necromorph? Can anyone explain that to me? Why would a sound turn people into a different creature? I've now come to realize it's a sound signal being put out that turns people into necromorphs.
This whole time, for some reason, I've been assuming the markers were somehow creating a parasite that crawled into peoples bodies and turned them into necromorphs.
